On The Road to Myrtle Beach, SC, May 2009
As a break from my normal monthly routine of taking several short out-and-back trips to random geographical locations, my travel schedule in May only showed one trip, although it was much longer thanks to the ongoing support of one of our largest new clients, Brittain Hotel Management/Myrtle Beach Resorts. (See On The Road March, 2009.) This time I was glad to have Colleen Tuttle from our team, as she was able to co-facilitate with me for most of this week-long engagement during which we trained the rest of the reservations and front desk staff from their nine resorts. Here's are pictures of Colleen and I with the groups we trained that week:

Colleen and I also managed to carve out some time to make a pit-stop in the Red Parrot lounge at The Breakers of Myrtle Beach, which is the resort where the meetings were held. Here's a picture of us in the lounge that evening:

Of all the great things that happened for me during the month of May, 2009, one that I almost overlooked was that I celebrated my 20th year anniversary of the start of my first hotel training company, which was Check-Inn Training, Inc., on May 1, 1989. What a nice surprise it was that Colleen (left) and Karla (right), two of my cornerstones at KTN, took me to lunch to celebrate this occasion.
