On The Road To Phoenix, July 2-3, 2007
July wasted no time in putting me back on the road; on the first day I was back on a plane on Sunday afternoon and headed on a non-stop flight to Phoenix to conduct two days of training for the 50 or so agents at the ARAMARK call center. This was an especially interesting training for me, as their inventory includes some of the top National Park Lodges, any of which I would love to visit, along with luxury houseboat rentals on Lake Powell, which is something I’ve always wanted to do with a group of friends or family. I was also excited to meet in person Dan Lyle, their call center director, and Ildiko Agoston, their H.R. director, both of which I’d been working with by phone for several months, but an unexpected surprise occurred as well when I bumped into Robbie Sinteral, their call center manager, who had attended one of my train-the-trainer workshops nearly a decade ago. Rudy was very gracious in my introductions at each session by talking about how that seminar had impacted his career so long ago, and showed me the Certificate of Completion, signed by me, still hanging in a frame on the wall in his office

During the next two days I really enjoyed meeting their interesting and eclectic group of reservations agents. Ildiko Agoston is standing to my immediate left in the first picture.
