May continued to be a whirlwind month of travel for me.  Having just landed at 6:45pm the evening prior, returning from a four day trip for our wedding in the Pocono Mountains of PA, I found myself back at the airport awaiting a wheels-up time of 6:40am.  But this was no cause for a pity-party as it was just a day-trip to Orlando for a 90 minute presentation to one of my favorite audiences anywhere, the Florida Vacation Rental Manager’s Association (FVRMA).  Being there to provide their closing keynote address only made me want to plan better next year so I can spend more time with this group, as it includes some of my favorite customers such as Hillary and Josie from Premier Properties, Marv Levy from Flagship, and the Plumlee family (even though Pat and Mike weren’t able to join us this year.) 

                         
It was also really gret wto see some of the travel industry’s most innovative vendors tur-out to support this great event, including my good friend Kyle Buehner, President of Navis Technologies, who brought his entire contingent from Oregon. 

                                                  
Perhaps the best part was seeing Danielle Whatley, my newly hired Managing Director, attending her first ever conference representing KTN.  Once I saw you in action working the room at the trade show and during the breaks, I knew instantly that I’d made the right choice in hiring you Danielle and I look forward to many more years of working together.
